Hajo L.
I´m planning a "What if"-project that will include the mounting of a TOW-launcher on a Guntruck. Since I also want to mount some M2s and MK19s, my question is: What distances do I have to keep to the other weapons with the launcher? Will muzzle-blast or back-blast be a major factor when firing the launcher? HAJO
HeavyArty
Backblast is the biggest issue. The danger area is a 90 degree arc (45 degrees on eaither side of the centerline) from the rear of the launcher that goes back 50 meters. Keep secondary weapons out of that and you are good. Hajo L.
Thanks a lot, that means I have to change my lay-out. I planned to mount it somewhere in front of the cargo-section, but it looks like it´s better to have it somewhere in the back. HAJO
