Q about Transall

Here's a start:

EDIT: And some more (note that's a German Transall transporting the French AF Fennec):

I'm fairly sure I've seen images of French Army Gazelles being transported by Transalls as well but can't seem to find them right now.

Hi all. I would like to know which variety of helicopters can carry a C-160 Transall in its cargo compartment, either French or German helicopters.

Thank you for your help!

I.Martin

I,ve yet to see any helicopter that could carry a Transall.

Hey Koen, thank you very much for the links. I saw the Fennec page but God, a Puma?? amazing!! Do you think that a german Tiger, EC-135 helicopter (to avoid tanker jokes) family or the UH-1D can fit inside the cargo bay?

Thanks all.

Hi Koen, there is no greater truth than the one you have written but it's really hard to find pics. I saw Transalls carrying jet engines, pneumatic boats and different stuff but not helicopters or small planes, I guess a Magister or Alpha Jet can fit smoothly into the cargo bay.

So I will use artistic license, that one that although there is no evidence, can be completely feasible.

Thanks again, Koen

Just because you *can* wear skin tight camo shorts doesn't mean you *should* wear skin tight camo shorts guys. Just saying...

Maybe he grabbed the female tech's laundry instead of his own. All of that camo can get confusing in the dryers.

Gentlemen, thank you very much for your pics, they're wonderful!! I'm glad to see the Tiger helicopter, it is an excellent choice for a small vignette with both models.

Thanks again.

Wooow Koen, excellent pics!! I wonder how it can be possible, when I look at those pics, the scene of an anaconda eating a pig comes to my mind!

Thanks!
