ross blackford
:D, Very nice midnightprowler, very nice indeed. Back in the late 50s early 60s Holden were planning a coupe version of the EH Holden to be released in 1963. It would have looked a lot like this Nova judging by drawings and artists' impressions I have seen. Unfortunately the American boss at GM-H in those days didn't believe our market was "ready" for such a stylish car and we had to wait another 5 years for the first of the Monaros to come along in 1968 before we got a Holden coupe (well sort of as Holden had produced a beautiful coupe body before WW2 in Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Buick brands.) It's good to see these models and wonder what might have been in other parts of the world as well as at home here in Oz. I could see that coupe also in Vauxhall form and Opel and Chevrolet South Africa. , Ross.
