After, I spent a coat of Klir/Future on each side. If you have question, don't hesitate
Exhausted
My question: is the interior going to be visible from that window?
dams301
Apart the cockpit, the two stations behind the wall of the cockpit and the area around the access door, the interior will not be detailed because we do not see much through the small windows ;)
dams301
Hi all, Some news for the Growler since the last time. Thanks to a friend, I have now an upgrade set for the Sanger kit. The upgrade set is from my friend, he did a major overhaul and improvement to the original kit part and mold them : Some work to clean those part but it still better than improve the Sanger part. Hope to be back soon with some progress Damien

dams301
Hi folks, Long time since my last update, so I come to give somes news. In May, I took my car and go to the source to help me in this build with some photography : It was a long trip from SW of France to Coventry UK, but I spent 2 others weeks in England (english lessons in Cambridge, IWM Duxford, spotting at Lakenheath AFB, RAF museum, FAA museum). A very good trip, I start again as soon as possible With the help of a member from Britmodeller, I visited WR963 and took as many photos as possible and my project change a little : Doing the best I can to make WR963 in AEW.2 configuration and go back to Coventry with the model and thank the team for their work. It could be a long way to achieve this goal. For 2015, the objective is to put "in cross" the model. Since I go back from England, some events took me away from my desk : - Mirage F-1 retirement - Flying Legend, Duxford - and a formation for my future job But the model still continue to progress little step by little step. During one of my last participation to an model exposition, I started to clean up the engine from the resin set describe above : Not an easy task when you only have a cutter and no dremel... And a test fit : Since that (October), no progress. But when I see all the vac'/resin masters currently doing their build here (TommyP, Aurora Mark, Trojan Thunder), I put my build back on the desk and restart to work on it. Thanks guys This the work did yesterday : Not many, but I'll try to make update of progress each week. Regards Damien
Aurora Mark
Another Vac Build!! YES!! Damien, it's looking darn good so far. Fantastic work on the engines as well. The work you did on the interior details and the bomb bay is second to none! This is going to be a great build to follow! Cheers, Mark. Trojan Thunder
Nice work Damien, nice to see another vac build resurrected. Tom and Mark got me going again too... Looking forward to watching the rest of your build Edited December 31, 2014 by Trojan Thunder
Don
Wow! Great work...well done ! Cheers! Don.
dams301
Thanks guys. The bomb bay isn't achieve for the moment, but I'll return on it as soon as I close the fuselage. Talking about the fuselage, I'm working on the interior and it's going better than I imagine. The "skeleton" is in and now I'm working on the area we can see through the rear open door. I hope I can put some photo this evening or tomorrow :rolleyes:/> Best wishes for 2015 :cheers:/> Damien Edited January 1, 2015 by dams301
Aurora Mark
Well, I'm not going to lie... I'm excited to see more of your work. Happy New Year!
dams301
Thanks Mark. Your comments make me happy (espacially when I see your build  ) As promise, the progress : No more details to come (except for the cockpit and the 2 stations behind the cockpit wall), we can't see anything when close. And the rear area started this afternoon : No glue for the moment ;) And this is what I'm trying to reproduce : Still many work on it, but it's fun :D/ Damien Edited January 1, 2015 by dams301
dams301
Hi guys, Don't see time passed, so here a new update. No many progress because I'm also working on a Mirage III/5/50 project but I managed to arrange the rear area. I'm working on the first seat and then, I could start to detailing all of this Thanks for reading Damien

I'm waiting this kit for a long time, so I couldn't wait any more The Shack is still on the bench, but will progress more slowly. I make update when real progress will be there Damien
dams301
Hi all, Back to the Shack since yesterday. Still some work to something like that : When completed, I'll mold them for the second one. Don't wanna do the job again :whistle:/> Damian
Shorty84
Hi Damien, good to see some further progress on your Shack. Personally I find builds of vacu kits most interesting as it is a joy to see the kit progressing from an empty shell to a detailed replica. Keep it going... Cheers Markus
