delayar
Hi! I recently finished my Tamiya F-16C in the markings of the Oklahoma Air National Guard. I have made no build report, since it is pretty much a standard build of the Tamiya F-16, nly few extras were used The kit is the F-16C/N boxing, stiffener plates and pitot tubes are from Tamiya as well. The exhaust is from Aires with carbon fibre decals from Scale Motorsport. The radome is from Royal Resin, since I messed up the kit part. :blush:/> Decals are from SuperScale with stencils and missile markings from Afterburner Decals. I printed the POW-MIA badge myself. I depicted the Viper in an A2A configuration, with 2 AIM-120 at the wingtips, one AIM-9M and one AIM-9X. The Model was painted with Gunze, Tamiya and Alclad colors. daywalker
Very nice build, I like it! Colors look just right. How were those carbon decals from Scale Motorsports to work with?
delayar
Thank you very much! Very nice build, I like it! Colors look just right. How were those carbon decals from Scale Motorsports to work with? The carbon decals needed a lot of MicroSol to conform to the exhaust petals, but otherwise they are good to work with. SteveV22FE
Excellent Work...looks just like the ones parked here on the flightline!

drhornii
Tugging at my heartstrings on that awesome build! Now if I can get the updated decals made (waiting on a decal MFG to do them, have some photos) then you will have to do a second one. The changes are not much but the color markings are a thing of the past(except a few)and the tail number is raised up off the tail base. Great work!
jmel
Nice Viper!!! It's always good to see a Guard F-16. Now if I can get the updated decals made (waiting on a decal MFG to do them, have some photos) they are coming. Jake
