SouthViper
I would like to know if it would be correct and possible to use the excellent Aires turbines for 1/48 MiG-23 for the Su-24 Fencer, both from Trumpeter ? SouthViper
phantomfan
Hello, there is a set for the Su-24 engines, search for Komplekt Zip 48005 Su-24 rear fuselage and burner cans correction kit. Hope this helps. Regards. Marco
skyhawk174
Several correction sets are available for the Trumpeter Su-24 from Linden Hill Imports. http://www.lindenhillimports.com/komplektzip.htm
mingwin
it depends if the Aires engine (for their MiG-23) is a Lyulka AL-21 ...or if it is the Tumansky R-29... but i'm not enough expert to recognize them by the resin bits... Tumansky engines where more common on MiG-23, but not fitted in a Su-24...
SouthViper
Thank You all for the tips. I think this would be a very expensive project. SouthViper
