Eric B.
Hi all, This is my tiny ICM Polikarpov I-16. Model is very good, a lovely little butterfly very well designed and produced by ICM. I am a Hasegawa fan really but this time I confess (though I do have both kits in my stash) I prefer the ICM moulding over the Hasegawa work. Model was started long long ago (probably between 4 and 6 years ago which is long for such a tiny airplane model) as kind of a side project (I am not a specialist of WW2 VVS aviation). Fact is model was continually pushed aside. Earlier this year i decided i should complete this model partly.... because I wanted it finished and partly due to a loss of motivation and a need/urge to finish a model. Model was here, simple, well advanced in the process of building so... Model turned out to be an extremelly pleasant little model. Well detailed, sharp, fun for funny aircraft. Aircraft is from a unit defending Sebastopol during fall/winter 1941. Best regards. Eric B.
