Benetton B-192 Schumacher

Perseverance does pay off sometimes. Started this way back during the Open Wheel GB and had a heck of a time with the rear wing. It fell apart on me 6-7 times and finally the upright that connects wing to car flew off into the nether. After a month or so I got all new parts from Tameo thanks to Mac's Modeling. Put the finish in hold as I was terrified of the wing.

Monday I decided to give it a go again. After a couple tried I managed to get it pretty good. It's not 100% perfect but it's so small it's hardly noticeable. Main thing is it's square which is most important.

Anyway this is typical Tameo kit. Brilliant in every way. I added nothing to it but paint. Paint was Tamiya Chrome Yellow and the green is the kit supplied decals with some touch up of Tamiya Park Green. Represents the Belgium GP which was Michael's first win. Wet race so the kit came with rain tires.

Onto the pics.
