F-14B Hasegawa 1/72

Recommended Posts

Helleo,

Excuse my bad English !

...in the next (long)Time i will show you some Pictures of my actually Build.

It will be an F-14B from the VF-102 in 2001/02 during Operation "Enduring Freedom" - the last hot flights of these Tomcats before the VF-102 became the Superhornets ...

The first Step is one of the finest - the really wonderfull Cockpit from Aires is pure Joy !

Wow! That cockpit looks amazing. If I could ever get half as much detail painted in 1/48, I would be happy.

Can't wait to see what you do out of the dreaded Hasegawa kit, as some modelers say it is difficult to build.

I was always enjoying your models over on FF.

...in Memorian on the good old Times with the Verlinden-Update-Sets i will show the opened Canonn.

The Verlinden Set is nice - but today any Things can mouldet better - and with correct Dimension - Master vs. Verlinden:

Yes, the Cannon and the Cannonbay from Verlinden are too short.

And thats is because Verlinden the Resin-parts adapted to the "Cannonbay" from the Hasegawa-Kit. - But this "Cannon Bay" from the Kit is not the Cannonbay, is it only the Sector for the various Kit-Parts of the various Cannon-Covers of the Tomcat-Versions.

There is still a lot of work to me!

I hope, you all can understand my poor translation ...

OMG! Most impressive work here!!!!

The paint job in the cockpit is incredibly sharp! I have the same kit from AIRES and I know very well how small and tiny the details are...

Will definitely keep an eye on this build!
