Poppop
I noticed that MisterKit lists a WWI RAF Salamander Black paint. Does anyone know if this is the same color that was used on the RAF Night Bombers (i.e. Fe.2b's)? I appreciate your taking time to read this and for any insights. Regards, Charlie Salamander Black is specific to the Sopwith Salamander. The RFC/RAF 'Night' colour was called NIVO (Night Invisible Varnish Ordfordness) and is also available from MisterKit. However, NIVO didn't come into use until quite late in the war, and most of the FE.2b night bombers were simply painted matt black.
