dnl42
Looks like the rule is both wingspan and length must exceed 13". Is that correct? In scale, that's 1/48: 52 ft or 15.8 m 1/72: 78 ft or 23.8 m 1/144: 156 ft or 47.5 m If so, the B-17, B-24, B-25, C-47, CH-53, and Ju-52 can only be done in 1/48. In 1/144, acceptable aircraft include the B-52, C-5, C-17, Tu-95/142, and Tu-160.

Aaronw
Cool, I build in 1/72 and most of my ideas for the GB failed to meet that standard in 2 dimensions meeting length or width / wing span but not both.
dnl42
One dimension must exceed 13" In that case, 1/72 now includes the B-17, B-24, C-47, CH-53, and Ju-52. And 1/144 gains the An-124 and B-1. In any event, I'll be choosing from a 1/48 C-47 and Ju-52 as well as 1/144 B-52 and C-17.
SAU
I checked my own stash and here are some more not mentioned before. 1/144: Il-62M, Tu-154M and DC-10 1/72: Avro Shackleton, Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic, Focke-Wulf FW 200, Handley-Page O/400, Junkers Ju 86 R, Nord 2501 Noratlas and the Short Stirling. To bad I never bought that 1/72 Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI some years ago... ;)/>/>
wh1skea
The 1/72 Gato class submarine I have would definitely be perfect for this build, sadly I won't have the aftermarket bits I'm wanting for it to get in on this group :/

Kurt H.
We start wednesday. I have my 1/72 A400M ready. Are you ready?
AX 365
I have a 72nd scale Revell Germany Lancaster that fits the bill (17" wingspan). I might play. Not sure though as I have three other projects on the go. I also have a 48th scale CF-100 that meets the criteria. It's as big as a 32nd scale Sabre or Me-110 and a 72nd scale Halifax but it's a twin engined Cold War fighter, not a bomber. Trash
I originally thought about building the Testors B-2, then I got the 1/72 Roden Zeppelin Staaken R.VI, but I also have a 1/48 Fonderie Minature Halifax Mk3 and a 1/48 Tamiya Lancaster and a 1/72 Roden Felistowe F.2A, now just to decide which to build
ajd3530
I'm trying to find a 1/48 Monogram PBY at a decent price. If that doesn't pan out, I'll more than likely be pulling out the B-26.
