Darren Roberts
I'm adding a RAIDS pod in 1/48 scale to the SB line. It was mastered by ARC's own Kstater94. I'm writing up a description for Sprue Brothers. I know the Typhoon carries it. Are there any other aircraft that carry it?
scotthldr
Every RAF fast jet over the last 5 years, Tornado(both types), Jaguar, Harrier, Hawk. The version carried by the Typhoon differs from the others by having what appears to be some sort of ballast attached to it. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8024/7448508852_1665eea15e_o.jpg Photo credit to Nigel Blake http://www.nigelblakephotography.co.uk/ Edited August 6, 2014 by scotthldr
Darren Roberts
Thanks for the info. That's actually the one I cast, so it seems it's just on the Tiffy.
Bobski
Scott is right. The pods on Typhoon are ballasted to make them more representative of an AIM-9 or an ASRAAM. On Hawk and Tornado (along with Jaguar and Harrier when in service) this is not the case.
