Johnopfor
Any ANG units on the sheet (Nebraska, Arizona, Maine, Iowa)?
KursadA
Any ANG units on the sheet (Nebraska, Arizona, Maine, Iowa)? Of course - the more parochial, the better ;-). Kidding aside, the sheet will not be that "parochial", and its name will not be "Parochial Petrotankers". It will include a few interesting ANG options, a couple active duty units and some foreign options if I can fit them onto the sheet. This comes from the "Because I Can" department of Caracal Models - you know, the one that brought you the EC-121 sheets. Look out for some early drafts soon after I release my next batch next week. 82Whitey51
Great to hear...hardest workin' bird in the war business. I'm with Ken...New Hampshire or Maineiacs!
Trojan Thunder
Looking forward to this one. Just like to see some variety from the kit supplied options out there. Singaporean Air Force would be a nice option
eraucubsfan
How about Illinois ANG the 126th Air Refueling Wing?
MHaz
Kursad, You might try to find the Alabama ANG bird that had the "Alabama" stylized like the University of Alabama on one side of the tail (houndstooth and all) and stylized like Auburn University on the other side of the tail. lyonkubb
Cool nose art on "Superbee" from the 151st ARW of the Utah ANG. Utah is "The Beehive State" therefore...Superbee was a fitting nose art. A shot of the noseart and some other shots of the tail band found here: http://www.151arw.ang.af.mil/photos/mediagallery.asp?galleryID=5929 Not far from home if you decide you like this one and want me to get some shots. Supertom
How about Illinois ANG the 126th Air Refueling Wing? Ditto! I would love to have that scheme. I bought a kit specifically in the hopes that scheme would show up. Edited September 24, 2014 by Supertom
KursadA
Thanks for the excellent suggestions - I got many more through e-mail as well. Singaporean and Turkish aircraft will certainly be on the sheet. As for ANG and active duty units, I am still going through photographs to see what's out there; and I will make a shortlist as soon as the frenzy of next week's new releases is over. Meanwhile I already finished the base profile and some of the common markings in a marathon session last night. Edited September 24, 2014 by KursadA
GEH737
I saw the Arizona KC-135R with the Arizona flag on its tail on the ramp the other day in Phoenix - it certainly is impressive, and would definitely stand out in a collection... Hitch
skyhawk174
.... Singaporean and Turkish aircraft will certainly be on the sheet. ..... Yes, Singapore KC-135s. Prayers answered. I remember going up to Maple Flag one year and seeing the tanker there from Singapore. At first I was not even sure what I was looking at since it did not have the usual star and bars. Then I clued in since the SAF F-16s were there from Luke. I not sure if I was able to take any photos of them though. I know I have their F-16s but in Kodachrome slides. I will have to go digging. Thanks again Kursad. I will have to go brush off my one and only AMT KC-135R.

I could use a nice side view of the tail as a start - I will contact you via PM. It looks like I will be able to fit 10-12 different AMC/ANG units in addition to the two foreign options - I have already finished a few of them.

KursadA
Let's get things started with this early draft - I've already drawn fin flashes for 10-12 different units, and I believe I can fit up to 15 or so. There is still a lot of work needed for unit badges, crew names etc - but this will be a December or January release, so I still have time to keep working on it.
