JEN722
Are they supposed to be Seahawk fuel tanks? They sure don't look like the ones we have on our MH-60Rs. Jens

Rotorman
Hi, Looking for photos of US Navy Seahawks AUX fuel tanks( not the one inside the helo). Can anyone help. My contact is deployed overseas I can't reach him. Thanks so much. Oliver
HeavyArty
The MH-60S does not use external fuel tanks. That is why it has an internal tank. The naval version of external fuel tank for other Sea Hawks (HH-60F, HH-60R, SH-60B, etc.) has a more blunt nose and an inverted V-shaped fin setup on the rear. It is the same version used on the USCG MH-60J.

In your opinion would it be wrong to post the supplied tanks from the kit near the helo diorama?. Who uses those tanks then?

A carry over from the initial boxing(s) of the kit. Aaron
HeavyArty
I wouldn't use the kit tanks. They are US Army tanks. They can be modified into USN tanks though. That is what I did when I built my USCG MH-60J.
Rotorman
copy on the tanks. Thanks guys.
Rotorman
Found photo of the tank. Started on the conversion. Added shocks and made new front basket since the old one was too tall and threw away the balance of the piece. Thanks again for the photos Gino's.
