S.Pelletier Posted October 7, 2014 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Hi guys; Thats the first time that i post a build thread on a forum so please be lenient with me... ;)I started this model a couple of week ago. I did run in a couple of problems... Wings were warped and i used a bad Technic on the left one to unwarp it; melt the tip... Then i use the boiling water trick for the right wing and it worked great Could not fit the cockpit without having a small gap on the belly. The rest is not that bad as fitting goes but again run on some trouble when gluing the wings to the fuselage... Here some pictures; sorry for the quality but i only have a small pocket camera :(/>/> I tried to match the color of the photoetched but it's not a 100% That's were i am for now... Here a pic of by new building area... The other was a mess with tools and paint everywhere... You can see that i had to cut the wing tip on the left wing... (oh and yes these are picture from chuck amazing P51d on the wall as i am also working on the 1:32 Tamiya Mustang, hope he don't mind about the pics) Thanks for watching Stephane Quote Link to post Share on other sites

S.Pelletier Posted October 8, 2014 Author Share Posted October 8, 2014 Thanks Guy's; @mingwin The color i used is some old Citadel Miniatures Ultramarine pot from the 1990 monster paint set... and a little white.
