Joel_W
Foxtwo, Will be following your build of this newest generation aircraft. I must confess that I'm no fan of pilot-less aircraft, anymore then I would be of driver-less race cars, but that's the way technology is going. Ok, I'm off my soapbox now. Aigore
How odd to build an aircraft without messing with a cockpit. ..... Great work btw :)
dnl42
Good start! I'm sure you'll enjoy this kit, I did! The spoilers and bomb bay doors will need trimming to fit. Extending the wings also needed a fair bit more work, but looks like you're cleverly avoiding that. Dang, I see I painted the intake trunking incorrectly. I have a picture in my X-47B pile exactly supporting your work. What annoys me is that I looked at that specific picture quite a number of times to get other details right. foxtwo
pretty happy to see that such subject is interesting......it's my first "wings without a pilot" stuff......;-) David, are you talking about the "demarcation line" between the white and grey ? all the pics show it "straight"....while the line on the kit have "corners"......;-) kit is started since a few days, i'll post more pics soon.... dnl42
Yes, that was my mistake! There are a few 1/48 UAV's available. The SkunkModels RQ-4B is the only one larger. The smallest, by far, is the Attack Squadron RQ-7B. I've got those and a Bronco MQ-1 in the display case with an Attack Squadron MQ-8B in the stash. Attack Squadron has a 1/72 MQ-8C; I'm hoping they do that in 1/48 too. Hm, why don't I have an MQ-9?
foxtwo
ok, some update....i added some détails to the gears..... Pat
dnl42
Your plastic detail work is definitely better than the PE they provide!
foxtwo
thanks, most of the time i prefer working with the goold old plastic.......;-) Pat

Joel_W
That's a really impressive amount of detailing on the front gear assembly. Should really look fantastic once it's painted and weathered with some washes to bring out those details. Joel
foxtwo
Nazar, you've done a great job !! nice paint ! ok, exhaust...ok... also add some wires over the main legs....still need some little détails to improve them.... main fuselage is glue....no fitting problem.....
