ALF18
Wow, that is tiny! Maybe you could just use an Exacto blade for the wing... ALF
Kingoalie
Not getting a lot of bench time, but here's a little update. I started the F-104. John
Kingoalie
More small progress. I airbrush the wheels and cockpit parts and slightly modified the instrument panel of the LANCER. I used a mixture of Polyscale NYC Jade Green and Apple Barrel Bahama Blue (craft paint). I think it looks OK and will look better once I have more color in the cockpit. I also started a MiG-21SMT just for grins. I hope to get some dedicated time in this weekend. John Edited October 23, 2014 by John King
bashace
I'm going blind just looking at the pics, they are so small! Who's kit is the Lancer? V/r Ron
Kingoalie
The MiG-21 is the Eduard kit which I'll modify as necessary.
Kingoalie
Here's where I stand with the MiGs. The LANCER is on the left. Note the different instrument panels. I still need to create the HUD for the LANCER and do some paint touch ups. The F-104 is slowly progressing; the cockpit is almost complete. John
bashace
Those look really good for 1/144 scale! The cockpit detail for that scale is amazing! V/r Ron
dragan_mig31
Great start. The lancer has a light ghost grey cockpit color
Kingoalie
Wow I didn't realize that. On a few pictures I have of the Lancer cockpit it looks like the cockpit tub is still the original Russian color but the intrument panel is grey. http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i283/kingoalie/Mobile%20Uploads/lanceriii_zps877ce063.jpg Edited October 30, 2014 by John King
