FineMolds 1:72 X-wing

So begins my next build, will depict Red Five as it is the most weathered X-Wing of the options given.

been working on my 1:48 Raven so haven't done much with this kit, finally got around to assembling some parts.

been a long while since I did much work on this, been working on a 1:48 F-111

But, almost done with decals. Some of them were frustrating with how brittle they becaome. a bit more airbrush work to do to

Yeah I'm convinced FM decals suck. At least on the Xwing they're mostly flat surfaces. I had to give up on the Starfighter for the time being.

Very well color matched pilot. Does it have decals for the helmet? Tell me you didn't paint the rebel insignia by hand.

Yes, those are decals for the helmet.

Here's how it looks now, just about ready for flat cote. R2 needs some work too

done. May do more weathering another day when I get better reference pics of Red Five, but enough for now.
