Has anyone heard any rumors of a model of the hovercraft VTOL's they had on the hovercarrier? Looks like a really updated version of a V-22: part ground attack, part troop transport. Tony Stark Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) The kit is for the Quinjet version from The Avengers - Black with gray markings or dark gray with medium gray markings - Second canopy behind the cockpit The Quinjet from Captain America: The Winter Soldier has a few differences. - The second canopy behind the cockpit is no longer present - Under-wing weapons carriage on the STRIKE team versions (black finish with gray markings) - There's a linear aerospike engine in between the two turbofan nacelles - Shorter wingspan Bear in mind that the events of The Winter Soldier take place a year after the Battle of New York and these Quinjets were assigned to SHIELD headquarters at The Triskelion whereas the Quinjets in Avengers were assigned to an older Helicarrier, but these models are currently still in service, so your kit is still good. The Quinjets at The Triskelion were part of a new series with heavier weapons capabilities and increased speed that were created to serve on the Project Insight Helicarriers.
