RaidenJack
Hello everybody! I'm in such a gradual to put my over the years ongoing projects so gradually completed. Of course there are to make a few compromises in the kits as well as during construction. Here today the old Revell / ESCI kit of the Mirage V. lack alternative, there is unfortunately no other way, but on the whole I'm quite happy to have a beautiful Mirage on the shelf. Of course, promptly made a few mistakes, but except for the missing squadron crest all that remains the case. For a wrap around camouflage still had the parachute housing at the rear to be changed and typical of Belgian Mirage, their large 2250 liter tanks come from another Mirage kit. Decals come from Daco, very good quality, although I am on the left on the fin which is the Nr. 8 a little slip. Today, I would do many things differently, but I was just glad to have the bird now off the table. Translations from me and Mr. Google, sorry for that. Best Regards, Udo. Hello Udo I think Google Translate screwed it up a bit, as the second part of the above sentence doesn't make much sense, but I suppose you could use these two pictures to finish your model with the placement of the dual Squadron insignia (BA48 carried both 1 Sqn and 8 Sqn insignia together). Otherwise it's a very good looking Mirage ! Danny Coremans DACO Products Edited November 16, 2014 by DACO Products
B_Realistic
Very good looking Mirage. That brings some memories from my childhood days where I looked out of my window on a wednesday afternoon where a Mirage V made a low pass on his side between our house and another row of houses.:) How dirty the underside was.
