Hoosfoos
There's no update on their FB page since July, two decent releases to date but their Fouga Magister project seems to be stalled.
Jennings
I've heard nothing of them, and I know at least one planned project got torpedoed by a (typically mediocre) Trumpeter release.
B.Sin
Yes, I like to know too. Brad
Hoosfoos
I've heard nothing of them, and I know at least one planned project got torpedoed by a (typically mediocre) Trumpeter release. 2 out of three of their releases have been torpedoed by Kinetic. I bought 2 Kfirs from AMK because I wanted to support the company.
dryguy
I was really hopeful of their planned f14. Hoping for an accurate, simple to build cheaper even if less detailed than hasegawa
B.Sin
I got a bad feeling,no MiG-31. Brad
Petarvu
There was so much hate from other manufacturers towards AMK, one can just wonder.....
Laurent
Instead of speculating on the status of AMK and of its relationships with other manufacturers, perhaps someone could try to contact AMK ?

PetrB
Not everybody hate them :-) As far as I know, Eduard bought their L-29 for reboxing :-)
B.Sin
let's hope they're still in business. I love to see that 1:48 scale MIG-31. Brad
vesthepes
I like AMK. Bought the L-29 and the Kfir, decent kits IMHO to say the least...
Jennings
Instead of speculating on the status of AMK and of its relationships with other manufacturers, perhaps someone could try to contact AMK ? I'm not speculating. Their emails dried up completely. I was in touch with them directly on a project.
Laurent
I'm not speculating. Their emails dried up completely. I was in touch with them directly on a project. Companies aren't static. People go in and go out... especially in China. Would it be possible that the guy you discussed with got out and that it could explain why he didn't answer you ? Edit: the contact Jennings discussed with has gone out of AMK. Edited November 13, 2014 by Laurent
B.Sin
I hate to be a pessimist, but it sounds like they're done. Brad
Jennings
If you have a company, and you don't put out any product, that pretty well means you're done.
B.Sin
That's true. there has been no official announcement that AMK is out of business.

Pep
I figured the news of Dragon picking them up as a US distributor might be a sign of hope; But nothing new has been heard.
B.Sin
Maybe we should ask Dragon if AMK is still alive. LOL
Hoosfoos
Just received this reply from them via FB: Hi, We are still operating, and thank you for supporting us! We were a bit slow, but should be faster then.

mingwin
i'm so happy that they are still alive!it would have been utterly sad if AMK went out of business as they where having some very interesting subjects in work... like the MiG-
