Wayfarer 30
I was browsing at some 67 vette's when i came across a tempting alternative... Corvette Alternative I am not even sure how it came in my search but i want it. Unfortunately the wife thinks it is ugly and it won't fit in my garage. So i must keep searching for a vette. falcon20driver
Something doesn't add up. 70k for a flyable Mig-21!? If that's the case I'm gonna find some financing.
Netz
Well, it is a 2 seater, sell her on the fact that you can go visit the in-laws more often... Curt
Slartibartfast
Yeah, that price is missing at least one zero, if not two.
nerdling
Yeah, that price is missing at least one zero, if not two. Maybe not. I was just looking and there are several Mig 21's for sale that are around 100k
GEH737
So you buy it and can afford the payments, insurance, ramp fees and can fly high performance aircraft... At an average of $4.50 per gallon of Jet Fuel - it's going to cost you at least $3,000 to fire it up and go fly. The first part's doable - but the second??? I'm guessing the 'Vette is going to be a lot easier to deal with.
falcon20driver
Maybe I'll buy it and convince my company to offer an airborne escort for important clients!
Jinxter13
$70K for a used Fishbed, sounds reasonable accounting for depreciation, demil, etc..however the Flanker(s), now flying in the US owned privately would/will be a lit-tle...different .
