Brian P: Fightertown Decals
I know it's been asked before and the 1/32 set is a work of art. Just about to embark on the Hobby Boss 1/48 Tomcat and this is a post basically begging for you to do the 1/48 version... TIA! brian

SouthViper
Still better to begin with the HASEGAWA 1/48 ones . SouthViper
Brian P: Fightertown Decals
South Viper - I'm a bigger fan of the Hasegawa in every way but 1 and that is what this project needs, an open radome. I do like the main gear bays of the HB kit but in everything I've seen and dealt with, I'd pick the Hasegawa kit over HB without a doubt. But HB has a lot of followers and there is a big need to fix things - intakes especially ;) thanks, brian

The HB Tomcat has its place in the kit market and deserves some AM. And just imagine: there would be the perfect kit: no AM producer has any reason to make some resin or PE or decals... HAMMER32
HB should present a no-rivets version of F-
denstore
Hello Brian, I support your asking for the air intakes! The HB Tomcat has its place in the kit market and deserves some AM. And just imagine: there would be the perfect kit: no AM producer has any reason to make some resin or PE or decals... I would buy them as well. The Hobbyboss is a nice kit, so why not offer some upgrades? Lot of people have bought the Hobbyboss kit, or maybe even spent a fortune on the Eduard Danger Zone edition (me included). If I could get a nice fix and upgrade, I would buy them as soon as they hit the market.
a4s4eva
Since the apparent Tamiya Kit has yet to be seen (if it exists) I'd be interested in a intake set for the HB kit. I've built 1 Hasegawa one, and I'm not that interested in doing another.
dnl42
Yes, please, intakes for the HB 1/48 Tomcat!!! :)
SpitfireGuy
Yeah I am in for this. Built the Hase kit and have an hB kit in the stash. There are things I like about both kits while recognizing that Hase is better. Would love to see an intake set for the 1/48th HB kit. Zach
ChippyWho
I was hoping they'd be done by now...! What's the hold-up? :P
