TheFlyingDutchman
Hello, This is a special project with the help of Greg Drawbaugh (DRAW Decal). I asked him whether one of his old sheets for the Air Tahiti Nui A340's was still available, but he did not produce it anymore as the circular patterns had to be masked. I convinced him to update the sheet along with some colour matches in the instructions. He sent a sample to me to test it and to find out what colours suited this bird well. I added some pilots to the cockpit (which is included in the kit! It's very basic though). I ruined the kit's cockpit window so I had to make a new one out of styrene strips and transparent sheet (no, the captain is not sleeping) I modified the inboard engines as its pylons were incorrectly shaped, resulting in a too low ground clearance and a weird overall look. As for the colours: I used Xtra Color X317 (WP Thrifty Blue) as dark blue and X308 (Korean Air Blue) for the light blue parts. I added a little white to the Korean blue though, and some drops of that mixture to lighten up the WP Blue a bit.

mrblujet
Excellent job on the Airbus. It is always good to see the airliner community getting represented.
PMG Offramp
Truly splendid, again the weathering (& of course the entire job) is great ! Well done with the engine inner pylons, I always wanted to mod them but it looks difficult. Are the 2 pilots scratchbuilt ?

Fly-n-hi
Fantastic! I had the pleasure of flying on Air Tahiti Nui when we went to Bora Bora for our honeymoon.
TheFlyingDutchman
Thanks everyone!! :D The pilots are from a bag of 1:150th scale train passengers that I bought on eBay for almost nothing. They are perfect to fill up cockpits in this scale. greets Jelle
