He was on the preceding one, Det 36 aboard Randolph, which was relieved by 45. Probably saw this plane over the house a few times. That kit isn't bad. Main job I found was correcting the cockpit which wasn't too hard using the kit parts. Like the A3D, the panel is split and the 3d crewman does not face forward. The access from the crew door (right side) needed some correction too. Of course since I haven't finished it yet there may be some work. This one is a compliment to the type and it's good to see an AJ displayed. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Note that the Aeroclub propellers provided with the Rareplanes kit that Alex used on his excellent model (from a difficult kit) are a bit over sized in blade chord, particularly at the root.
