Colin K
Well, again, I'd like to thank everyone for participating in the Hornet GB. It was a lot of fun and there were some outstanding models built! I'd like to thank tsouthern66 for co-modding this build with me as well. Thanks for the help and input sir, it was greatly appreciated. So, we had a total of 42 completed models! Who built the most? Well, it was a slugfest between phantom and Thadeus! Considering the different scales, this could almost be considered a dead heat, but number-wise, Thadeus completed the most models with 13. Phantom finished 8, Mike C. finished 3, Alf18 and Hajo L. each finished 2, while 14 modellers finished 1 model each. So, how does that break down, scale-wise? 72nd scale-25 models 48th scale-15 models 32nd scale-2 models. So, who represented the most in terms of air arms that fly the Hornet? US Navy-26 US Marine Corps-6 Royal Canadian Air Force-7 Royal Australian Air Force-2 Royal Malasysian Air Force (TUDM)-1 Spain, Kuwait, Finland and Switzerland were not represented. Now, every variant of the F-18 Hornet was represented in this build. A model Hornets-7 B model Hornets-4 C model Hornets-13 D model Hornets-1 E model Super Hornets-8 F model Super Hornets-7 G model Super Hornets (Growler)-1 So, there you have a few different, probably useless facts about the build, but hey, stuff like this is neat to know. Again, thank you all for participating! Edited January 2, 2015 by Colin K
