Completed Builds

Recommended Posts

She's done. Quick build as I found working with 1/72 way too difficult for my eyes and hammy fists. I used my new camera to take the picks...nice but I need a few more practice shots before I can claim to be any good. Anyways, hope you enjoy. This was built OOB. The Hobby Boss SLUf inaccuracies are well documented, but the kit itself is a relatively easy build. Decals are not 100% right but they do a decent job and I must say, they conformed very well given the length of some of them.

Right, finished one. 1/48 Twin Huey using Belcher Bits conversion and Canmilair decals to make a 439 Tiger squadron SAR Griffon.

Added a 424 Iroquois, like 439 used to fly before the Griffon.

Of course you need what they flew Before they were a SAR squadron...........

Hi SARguy. That's a gorgeous looking Phantom mate. Nice job. Unfortunately, for the purposes of fairness, this one wouldn't qualify as the rules state that you need to post some progress pics in a WIP thread to show progress etc. Do you have any build pics at all? If so, you could start a WIP thread and this would qualify.

I see you've started a few other WIP threats! Awesome stuff. Look forward to seeing your tigers!!! Nice work.

So many nice birds already done. It's about time to add some Hornets!

First one is Spanish C.15 from ALA 15, Tiger Meet 2007 participant. 1/72 Academy, I've used kit decals and resin seat from Verlinden.
