ross blackford
:D, This is the 1/72 Special Hobby kit of the 3 Sqn aircraft flown by Sqn Ldr Bobby Gibbes when he was the unit's CO in the Western Desert. It's a little bit fiddly but a nice kit overall. The camouflage is RAF dark earth over middle stone with azure blue undersides. The model is painted and the decals in place, now all she needs is a coat or two of clear flat, the wheels, prop, drop tank and antennae fitted, and she'll be done. Next on the modelling bench should be the Amodel Antonov An-26. Work is also moving ahead on my 1/1 1939 Pontiac Coupe restoration. More on that subject in the thread in the auto subject section. , Ross.
