stalal
I was building a Harrier and had to stop because I dont know what type of glue should I use to stick photo-etch parts, in this case, detonation cord inside the canopy. Needless to say, I dont like the decal. Any help will be welcome :)/>
spejic
A white glue or canopy glue would be best. This is one situation I would not recommend a 2-part epoxy - it would be messy and you need something with a little holding power before it is dry.
dnl42
I use Gator's Grip Glue to glue PE surface-to-surface and attach canopies. I also use Formula '560' Canopy Glue to attach canopies. I've also read here that Future works.
Netz
I'd use Future. Curt
wdw
Yes, I'd go with Future too. Of course you will first have to bend the photoetch to shape so it will lie flush in the canopy. Then, a touch of Future with a fine brush and the Future would capillary under the detonation cord. Just leave it to dry thoroughly and the Future would virtually disappear. No mess whatsoever. Woody_
Future is ok,but only if you perfectly bend the PE part. Let's be honest, that's sometimes isn't easiest job to do. I would advise to use something like Micro Kristal Klear, it will glue PE ,and fill little gaps. Also,it will give you time to position the PE part perfectly in the position. Netz
True, you need to have the PE bent perfectly, regardless of what medium you are going to use, that's why I would opt for the decal... Curt
