Bravosierra001
This is the first part of a two part project that I am doing to commemorate "The Brown Water Navy" air warriors that fought in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. This is the rough draft of the project. And here is the first build for the project. This is the Hobby Boss 1/72 UH-1C. It worked out great for what I was doing for it has the B tail with the air filter on the intake. This is a configuration that HAL-3 used often. Other than a couple of issues the fit of the kit was really good, and it was a straight forward build. I added some PE from the Eduard set, and did a little scratch building. It was a nice little kit that I enjoyed building.

Albert Moore
Excellent Huey! Always neat to see a Seawolf Huey built up. How did you replicate the ammo chutes? Cheers, Albert
Bravosierra001
Excellent Huey! Always neat to see a Seawolf Huey built up. :thumbsup:/>/> How did you replicate the ammo chutes? Cheers, Albert Hi Albert I made the chutes by folding a piece of alum. tape in half, and then went over it with a riveter, and then trimmed it and painted. Thanks, Brandon
RKic
That is beautifully painted, and a brilliant solution using foil for the chutes. I'm surprised to not see more kudos. No matter, I'm looking forward to seeing it teamed up with the Bronco. Great work!
falcon20driver
That is sharp, especially in 1/72. I love the display base too.

Joel_W
Just a rock solid build with some very realistic weathering, yet not overly done. Joel
