Mike C
I'm currently building a Hasegawa EA-18G kit. Unlike their "F" Super Hornet kit, the instruction sheet does not call out the red edging for the main MLG covers, only the bottom edge of the front wheel covers. I have looked at a couple of dozens pics of EA-18G on Airliners.net. I can definitely see the red edging on bottom edge of the front/nose wheel covers. For the MLG covers, none of the pics I looked at clearly showed the colour (shadowed). So, question for the experts: do all the wheel covers have red edging on the EA-18G? TIA! graves_09
Here's a tip, disregard the instructions when it comes to painting and decaling. They are wrong more often than not. Trust your references. You can't go wrong with pics!
swimmer25k
I believe that Afterburner decals did a stencil sheet that gave the red areas inside of the gear doors as decals. Furball did some for the F-4 (Hasegawa and Academy) and they made my life much easier. Chris
