TexasBlues
Hey everyone... its been a L O N G time since I posted anything on here... life gets in the way sometimes... I would like to get a Stuka kit and was wondering what the overall consensus was for 'best OOB kit out there' I would like to use some PE and some resin, so your thoughts on that would be most appreciated as well would you please post your opinions? I have some experience with Hasegawa and Trumpeter and Testors, but not much else... Resin is totally new to me, but so far, I like working with it (I used and Aires in a 1:32 F4U)... and while the detail is phenomenal, I cant say as much for the instructions (but its probably my own ineptitude) thanks in advance for your input and opinions! Leo Etgen
Hello I think that it would depend on which version you are wanting to model. Hasegawa offers the late Ju 87 D (08076) and G (08075) versions while Trumpeter offers the early Ju 87 A (03213) and B (03214) versions in 1/32 scale. I have never read anything bad about the Hasegawa kits but it is my understanding that the Trumpeter kits suffer from an undersized nose as well as a few other problems. However, there is a correction set available for the Ju 87 B that addresses most of the problems: http://www.fawcettmodelsandpatterns.co.uk/1-32-junkers-ju-87-b2-r2-correction-set If you are looking for an out of the box build I personally would go with one of the Hasegawa kits but it all depends on the version you are interested in. I hope this helps. Horrido! Leo
