Here is the building story of the newly kit launched by lcaerodesign

The kit comes with:

•49 resin parts

•clear resin cockpit canopy

•printed cockpit instruments & transparency film

•decals for 1 variant at your choice (Romanian / French / American)

•15 photo etched parts

•pre-cut mask film for painting

•full color detailed instructions

I have started with fuselage interior and with the engine.

As you see I have used a lot of glossy black

Awesome, I wish aerobatic planes were better represented in the modeling world

Unfortunately there is only a small market for that and big producers don't take this subject very seriously and somehow they are right....

everybody want to build ME-109, Mustangs and FW-190 :D

Beautiful looking Extra! I'll definitely be picking up one of these.

For you guys asking about the Pitts and Eagle, it looks like Fisher Model picked up the molds for the old Airshow models kits. They also have the Jim Leroy Bulldog kit. I've got a couple of the original Airshow Models releases and they are really nice too.

I agree - it's a shame aerobatic machines aren't better represented. Perhaps that's why, when they are built, people put in so much effort that the end result is so stunning?

That engine is beautiful. When I saw the unmasked photos of the airframe I audibly gasped - it looks fantastic! Bravo!
