Fujimi 1/72 Westland Sea King Mk 43

Recommended Posts

From Fujimi (I remembered it was easier, perhaps I have become a snob...), it is not a true Westland built Sea King, missing a few bumps and antennas, next time I'd use the Revell Germany kit, even if it does have a couple of blemishes... The machine is as delivered around 1971/72. My dad went for training on them as a flight engineer and rescue swimmer, with my family (before I was born actually), in Yeowill and later Culdrose/Helston. There are a couple of antennas missing as well, but I couldn't be bothered!

Decals are out of the box except the Roundels, which are of a norwegian manufacture I can't quite remember.
