SARguy
Progress on this one not to bad except had a bit of an accident with deals. Some of them fell into some water I think I have enough to finish the model but will need to wait until finishing. Also the Italeri kit has the wrong drop tanks. So will have to raid my Hobby Boss Rafale B. Mind you there are only two tanks so had to make a casting for a third. Might have to build the Rafale as well as it has some Tiger decals. You can see the damaged decals and the drop tanks in this first picture Edited March 3, 2015 by SARguy
Crazy Snap Captain
SARguy, Loving your subject! I'm doing the RoG 1/48 Rafale. Nice work so far mate! Shame about the decals. Hopefully you can still get the job done!
SARguy
Looking forward to seeing your build as well Some good progress just figuring out best way to paint tiger stripes on the tanks Syhart included masks for the walk ways I think result is pretty good
SARguy
Drop tanks painted
ALF18
I'm impressed with the progress you're making, especially given you have mulitple kits on the go. These are not easy paint schemes. Syhart sure makes impressive decals! I did a Mirage 2000 in a Tiger scheme a few years back with his decals, and I loved the results. ALF
SARguy
calling this one done. After having build the Hobby Boss kit before and now the Italeri kit I much prefer the HB kit as it has more detail and the fit is a lot better. Comments welcome With a few previous builds from last year
Crazy Snap Captain
Nice one SAPguy. Just noticed that it seems one of your decals on the tail fin needs some trimming towards the end there. Otherwise, gorgeous effort.
