Bigasshammm
Revell kit oob with the addition of tire decals from Mike's Decals. Went together fairly well I guess. I had it in progress for many months as it was just something I toiled with here and there and the body became my test bed for paint and clear coat. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the revell decals were. Painted with Tamiya Italian Red (TS-8 I think) out of the spraycan. Cleared with Alaclad aqua gloss clear then a final Future coat over the decals. I guess it turned out good for a nascar. At home... K
Don
I am a big NASCAR fan and a big Junior fan...nice build . I always liked when Junior raced the #8 and had Bud as his sponsor. But those digital camo #88 National Guard Chevy's he's driven in the past are also pretty sweet. Well done! Regards, Don.

305swag
Very nice! What brand of paint did you use and how did you make the netting?
Bigasshammm
Netting was a rubbery piece that came in the kit. Paint was Tamiya TS-8 out of the can. Alclad aqua gloss clear over that then a light future coat after the decals were applied.

strikeeagle801
Looks great! I'm actually in the process of doing his Dad's 2001 Monte Carlo right now. Got the engine built today. My dad was a big fan of him, and he passed away last year, so I'm doing kind of a tribute build for him. First model I've touched in several years, so even though I want it to look nice, I'm just trying to have fun with it. I'm hoping it turns out okay. Yours sure did. Joel_W
A rock solid build. I'm really impressed with the smoothness of the gloss finish, as well as the perfect decaling. Joel
