arnobiz
Hello, Joining the party quite late but, believe it or not, I do have "some" shelf queens I will be humble and only join with one to give myself a chance to complete it ;) It will be a Hasegawa 1/72 Super Hornet from VFA-213 I began a while ago, see thread here: My link It will be built in flight. Here is the current status after two years on the shelf: Cheers, Arnaud
Thadeus
Hi Arnaud, those intakes of Yours look awesome. Which scheme are You going to finish Your Bug in? Edited March 26, 2015 by Thadeus
arnobiz
Thanks Thadeus. This one will be in VFA-213 Black Lions CAG markings (dark blue, not the fancy light blue ;)
arnobiz
Some progress to report ;) I'm really glad I joined the GB! The intakes are completed and painted, always a bit tricky... The guts of the beast are done. I built the usual rig inside to support the rod for in-flight configuration. Cheers, Arnaud
CorsairMan
In flight models are cool. Great work!
arnobiz
Hello, Some progress has been done on this one, the queen is struggling to get it out of the shelf :) Scratch-built ACS. Not exceptional but sufficient for a closed canopy! Ready to close the canopy... And closed with some masking started The canopy is not as smooth as I'd like but if I took more time on it I would never finish :( Cheers, Arnaud
