P-61 additional flooring

Recommended Posts

This might have come up before but I don't remember reading anything on this?

I am currently building the 1/32 P-61B from Hobby Boss. IK have all the resin and photo etch for the build just deciding on what would be appropriate? I found that the Eduard photo-etch set supplies additional flooring to be folded and placed forward of the kits floor in front of the Radar Operator's position, is this actually needed? Was this on the actual aircraft? I was going to use the Avionics Resin floor but that is just about the same as the kits and would require this piece added. I hate when they supply you with additional parts but I can find no references pertaining to it being correct. Does anybody have any reference for this or should I just leave it out?

Thanx in advance for any replies.

Dave

No, you would not use that piece. That area is about where the turret(if installed) would be.

Hope this helps,

Looking at the floor in the forward cockpit, I apologize for the confusion.
