piper19
Hello all, here is my next dio. I decided to follow ChuckW's excellent thread and I learned a lot from him. To stay a little bit original and not copy him exactly, I folded the wings and opened up the cowling. The Revell Beast was an ideal kit to make. Enjoy!
fulcrum1
That's nice! I was also inspired by Chuck W's thread...now I just gotta build one.
tobiK
Hats off!!! You really made a masterpiece of a beast! Seams the Revell kit is still the way to go in 1/48!?
chukw
Hot dog, Piper- you've shown me up! ;D I love it- the folded wings look great, and leaving off the lower cowling was a stroke of genius! I hope you had as much fun as I did cutting up that ABS deck plastic. ;)
Joel_W
Piper19, A most impressive build of a rather difficult kit. I'm more then just impressed with the final presentation. Folding the wings must have had its unique challenges. Joel

Rocat
Wow. A show stopper. The diorama is absolutely great, too... I love the pilots figures. ChukW's WIP was an instant classic, one of the best I've ever seen. I can see why you decided to follow some of his steps. Bravo!
