Alex Sidharta
Hi all, This is my recent build, the Hasegawa Su-27 Flanker, painted in Indonesian camouflage. I hope you'll enjoy it Regards, Alex Edited March 26, 2015 by Alex Sidharta
niki4703
The Hasegawa kit remains a well detailed, nice looking model - glad I resisted the urge to sell mine with all the new releases in late years. I like the Indonesian scheme and find you did a good weathering job on the model Are those Begemot decals? Cheers, Niki Edited March 26, 2015 by niki4703
dragan_mig31
Great one.I like it a lot.
Flankerman
Excellent build and finish Alex - nice to see you back on ARC. There are lots of things to criticise on Hasegawa's Su-27 - but your model looks great Ken
mario krijan
Great work Alex!!!
Alex Sidharta
Ken : Thank you... I didn't go anywhere actually. I was building multiple Indonesian aircrafts which I think it would make most modelers here bored if I uploaded them here... :) I do agree in what Ken said regarding Hasegawa Flanker. It was quite fun to build but speaking of accuracy, well... Niki, Thank you. It is Scale Nutz decal I used. Dragan_mig31 & Mario : thank you... appreciate it.
polar bear
I always glad to see Asean neighbourhood marking on models. Excellent finishing, Alex!
Alex Sidharta
Thank you ! Still a lot of Indonesian aircraft models to be build.... I always glad to see Asean neighbourhood marking on models. Excellent finishing, Alex! Edited March 26, 2015 by Alex Sidharta
Vultures1
Whatever the flaws in Hasegawa's kit, that's a great looking Flanker - nice work
Ruud
Nice work Alex!
Superheat
Alex, Your usual outstanding result. As has already been said, you have made a mediocre kit look VERY good. Your models are always well worth a look whatever the subject or kit, and I, for one, would like to see all those TNI-AU models, and more shots of the Flanker, too. Cheers, Tom
shan
Great Job Alex!! camoflouge is beautifully done, cant believe its a 1/
Ryan Hothersall
Nice flanker. Like the markings and camo scheme. Never heard of scale nuts decals. When I built an Su-30 in Indonesian markings, used decals from Begemot.
Thadeus
Very nice model! Very nice pics, too. I especially like the first shot - it's awesome!

Joel_W
Alex, Just an excellent build with an outstanding camo paint scheme. The markings look more like paint then decals. Very nicely done. Joel
HOLMES
Alex, What a BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS Su-27... IMMACULATE workmanship.. BRAVO... :worship:
Alex Sidharta
Thank you for your appreciation, Joel & Holmes.... Glad to know you like it....
K5054NZ
I DO enjoy it, fine work! Your painting makes it looks like a 1/48 model, I like it very much. I have a Zvezda Flanker in the stash - I forget what flavour it is - and I'm torn between Ukrainian and Indonesian. This build may make that decision for me!
Lyash Igor
Excellent job Alex!
Flankerman
I have a Zvezda Flanker in the stash - I forget what flavour it is - and I'm torn between Ukrainian and Indonesian. This build may make that decision for me! If it is the new Zvezda Su-27SM kit - then it can only correctly be built as a Russian machine - as they are the only ones to operate that variant. If you scratch an IFR probe, you could turn it into an Indonesian Su-27SKM - but that's all. Not Ukrainian - but hey, it's your model, paint it as you will. Happy Flankering. Alex Sidharta
Thanks Zac, and.... Indonesia it is ! It's easy to scratch the IFR probe. I've done that myself to make an Indonesian one too. Thank you, Lyash Igor....
