Ok...did I totally imagine this, or did Eduard announce that a "Good Morning Da Nang" type boxing of the Academy C/D would be coming.

I'd been holding out on grabbing the C and a bunch of AM a la cart in the hopes of one...and I swear a while back I saw something about it, but I'm turning up nothing now.

Good Evening, DaNang ! have whells, jets, hot seats and two small PE frets. Haven´t fabric "hot seat" belts. Navy/Marine Bravo aka Good Morning DaNang have it... And - naturally - big decal sheet from Furball (Printed by Cartograph.) Now have eduard a WW II 70th. end anniversary sale...

And i found a small error in instruction manual - you haven´t here drawing for GIB stick - but in parts are (K-27).

And i found a small error in instruction manual ....

Same attention to detail is paid on the box art: :rolleyes:/>

__ That's a Cam Rahn Bay airplane, not DaNang.

__ Shows a slotted stab (should be unslotted).

__ Looks like the engine is departing the fuselage :woot.gif:/>

__ Air-to-air missiles was not a Cam Rahn load. (used once by a four ship for Pres Nixon escort mission, that's it.)

And so forth ....

Will be interesting to see if Eduard have FINALLY corrected their seat shoulder strap instructions!

You have right Gene. On boxart isn´t airplane from DaNang - but in decals-wooohooo !

F-4C 63-7500, 390th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 366th Tactical Fighter Wing, Da Nang Air Base, 1967 - This was Frederick "Boot" Blesse Personal Mount - "Blue Max" with blue-white strips over fuselage

F-4C 64-0752, 480th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 35th Tactical Fighter Wing, Da Nang Air Base, 1967 - Mig Killer, white undersufrace ( Later lost in action by Flak. )

F-4C 64-0776, 389th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 366th Tactical Fighter Wing, Da Nang Air Base, May 1967 - another Mig Killer with double score (third star is kill the same crew on different F-4)

From five camouflage options you have three DaNang Gunfighters "Rhinos". And one is personal mount of "DaNang Gunfighters idea father" "Boots" Blesse. This is OK, no ?

IMHO good representative of F-4C "Vietnam Tour" coats no ? Old USAF gray - white scheme, one SEAC after re-paint with SEAC, classic SEAC with dark grey undersurface, one commander aircraft and three MiG Killers...(All MiG Killers from DaNang.)

Yes, airplane on boxart isn´t "DaNang Gunfighter" - but in box are Phantoms from "DaNang Gunfighter Club". Where is problem ? Hell Angels look probably more atractive (My personal favorite is colourful "Boots" Blue Max - i like his memoirs book - "Check six !") have big nose art and rattlesnake after nozzle... It´s only a boxart. (And i prefer boxart from Good Morning DaNang with Jolly Rogers Bravo - for me is more attractive...)

I wait to F-4J - and - Academy - WHERE IS LONG NOSED F-4E ? (A´Nam aircraft, a IAF "Heavy Hammer", Turkish Phantom) oooh, Academy, Academy, why you tortured me ?
