I finally decided to take out my old B-58 kit and finish it.

I started a couple of years back by getting the Fister intake/exhaust set for the kit, as well as the LSM cockpit set and drilled out the holes in the fuselage.

The kit itself does show its age and the fit is quite challenging, requiring quite a bit of elbow grease.

After seeing the awesome decals from Caracal, I decided to finish it once and for all. Luckily, was able to get AWESOME masks made from StencilPal

I really liked the idea of seeing a B-58 on a B-58 hence the scheme.

All you see here has been painted. No decals so far. Plan on using caracal decals on the kit after this.

The masks worked like a charm and am quite happy how it turned out.

In addition, also used the MaterModel metal pitot, SAC gear and some MV lenses.

Painted using Alclad and Mr. Hobby paints.

Unfortunately, a lot of the detail in the different section is hard to see.

Definitely not the greatest build here...but quite happy with the results.

Nice. Its a different scheme not often seen on the Hustler. The white and orange is eye catching. Boy, even a model of the B-58 looks fast just sitting there. Like Sluggo2u posted, you are going to make me want to dig into mine :D . Nice work.

Regards,

Don.
