Bravosierra001
My next build for the Vietnam group build is going to be on of the 1/48 scale Hobby Boss UH-1C for a quick build!!! Brandon
rotorwash
My next build for the Vietnam group build is going to be on of the 1/48 scale Hobby Boss UH-1C for a quick build!!! Brandon Brandon, I built one in a weekend. Might I suggest picking up a cheap Monongram Huey Hog kit for the 540 rotor. The Hobby Boss rotor is atrocious and totally incorrect. Charlie22
Hello all, I just acquired my first helo as well, a Revell 1:32 UH-1D Gunship and am wanting to take my skill set to the next level. I've never used an interior photo etch detail kit and would like to give it a whirl on this Huey. I've had a hell of a time locating anything that corresponds with the Revell 1:32 scale. Can anyone point me in the right direction or if you have any suggestions I would sure appreciate it.
midnightprowler
There is no PE set for it.
Charlie22
Really? Wow! That would explain my difficulty finding it then. Will the kit made for Academy not work at all? Are there no alternatives? Thank you Mnp. -AJ
midnightprowler
Some of it. May work, but there is a difference in scale. The MRC kit is 1/35, Revell is 1/32.
andy evans
So, back to the plot. Started working up the second door gunner, probably about 40% done here, still lots to do yet. Stock Dragon figure with a scratchbuilt boom mike and visor.
Ken Piniak
Is that a stock ammo belt, or aftermarket? It looks great. Ken.
andy evans
Thanks Ken, it is the stock Dragon belt. Andy

salvador001
One of the most realistic and perfect Huey models ive ever seen. The paintwork is perfect, so as the rest. I dont like it, i love it. Please keep building more helicopter models, we all learn a lot from you. Congratulations. Rod.

twotanks
How in the world did you get your helmets like that?
twotanks
And where are y'all getting the 1/48 helicopter crews

twotanks
Oh ok yes I have the dragon 1/35 kit but I also had a 1/48 that came with a crew I may buy another kit just for the crew and try to cast them myself
