Well, Since there doesn't seem to be a "The Modern Eagle Guide

Randy,

I'm currently building the same model, 1/32 f-15c, the main reference I'm using, as well as the Walkaround In action books, is the 'F-15 in detail and scale' book. It's not as good as a daco book, but as you know the prices of some books is just plain criminal ! I was after the daco book for a f-16 build I was doing, and the same thing $1500 plus!

Good luck with your F-15 c build.

Model Art Profile F-15 Eagle has lots of close up pictures of details and cockpits and bays, but just for the F-15J/DJ, which is probably good enough if you are doing a F-15C. It might not be easy to find either.

I didn't realize the DACO books had gone through the roof as well. We've gotten spoiled to some of these excellent reference books we have available now. Keep in touch as you go through this build, I've done two F-15C and E they can be a bit of a pain.

Get the Viper Guide book from Reid Air Publications. They have one for the A/B and the C/D and both are way better than the DACO book on the F-16.

Sounds great! This will be my second F-15 c, so I know what you mean. Fantastic subject, but the quality and fit of the older models isn't what the new Tamiya are!
