1/72 Airfix Mig 29 - Finished

I have been wanting to build that mig for a while. Yours is coming along nicely. How was the Airfix kit? I had it in my hand at the hobby shop today because I saw the tiger flash on the tail but did not buy it.

I think it must be one of their older kits as a lot of flash on the parts. It goes together not too bad most of major seams are hidden underneath the engines but still required quite a bit of putty. The plastic I found to be pretty soft and sprues where very thick. I am not an expert on Russian aircraft so don't know how accurate shape and dimensions are

Calling this one done. Had to make the white on the top surfaces thinner as I found out the hard way after I applied first decals on the wing. I was able to mask the other side but the side with the decal had to be hand brushed. Not totally perfect but I am happy with it.
