Filipe
Hi Guys Here is the last project to enter the bench! The Hobby Boss 1/48 Embraer A-29 Super Tucano from the Colombian air force (FAC) I´m using the PE set from Eduard 49690 for the interior. I have added a bit of PE from the spare box to the side radiator grill interior and chopped the stabilisers, rudder and flaps which will be positioned open. I´m still not sure about what weapons to use and more important if I’m going to redo the aircraft belly! Next step will be adding enough height not to have a tail sitter and close the fuselage halves. Does anyone has a nice 3 views or images of the Super Tucano´s belly? To rebuilt it I need more info them I can find searching the web! Can anyone help? Feel free to comment Best Regards Filipe

ST0RM
Very nice detail work. Pity that without the PE and extras, the kit is pretty flat. Excellent work dressing up the cockpit. -Jeff
Filipe
Hi Guys Thank you for the support and help! Here´s a little update on the Tucano. I decided to do the belly after all, the work is still in progress, for now, I´m very pleased with the results. Lots of sanding and putty but it´s getting there! tdogg
I don't have the patience to do that kind of detail but I love seeing others do it and this looks fantastic!
Filipe
Hi Guys Thanks for the support! Here´s another small update on the Tucano. I´m calling the new belly done for now. I´m going to move on to the wing/fuselage assembly, apply the necessary putty in the joint and with everything togheter, prime it, and see what extra work is necessary. I have already added the air brake but a few more panels are still needed. Feel free to comment Best Regards Filipe

Janissary
I really look forward to the rest of this build. The pics are great, but can you also comment on the part fit (looks like there are a few issues) and other construction related problems you may have experienced? Edited September 17, 2015 by Janissary
Filipe
Hi Guys Thank you Janissary. I have encountered a few! Nothing all that complicated on the kit itself, it's very straight forward. In my case all the major issues I have encountered are related with the stuff added, mainly the belly that took a lot of work. The HUD display from Eduard doesn't fit on the windscreen with both glasses, it had to be chopped to only one. The movable surfaces also gave me a bit of work since I decided to cut them of! Another update on the Super Tucano! Finally looks like something, underneath light grey already applied, time to paint the medium grey on top!
