Almost a hundred pages of excitement, speculation, frustration, anger with very little to see and nothing to test fit or build. There's no rational reason for it other than the subject is popular, people love to talk, people are opinionated, and people are different. And if/when everybody here has seen and built both kits, this discussion will go on for tens of additional pages of excitement, speculation, frustration, and anger.  It's happened before. It will happen again.

In other circles this is called gossip, which makes us a bunch of neighbors talking about what is going on in this neighborhood.:hmmm:

Pass me a beer...

Well that, and the fact that this thread is now more than three years old.  It averages out to just a couple of posts per day.  It's just that, it's been a lot of days.

The only danger zone Tamiya will find themselves in is what Casino to go party with the profits of the F-14 A and D.

Veey shortly Tamiya D’s will be sitting on every shelf of every hobby shop in the 4 points of the globe.

I still have no idea how AMK kits will end up in my stash as there distribution network is non existant.

Think id prefer Tamiyas issues to AMK’s!

Deluxe suite, 4 bottles of Crystal and 15 dancers to get the F-14D party started!

at $99 a pop, they ain't exactly rolling off the shelf. My dealer says that on October first he's send every aircraft kit from that brand name back (some are four years old) for a refund. He's done this twice before so don't say you can't.

Dear minwin,

reading your post I see that you have a good memory and a bad faith...

i, indeed have a very good memory...  but don't try to give me intentions... you've nearly beg for this to happen!!!:taunt:...but don't take this too seriously! it' just a kind remember that what seems crazy for some might seems totally normal for others...and vice versa!

so, is it more crazy, having this thread about a kit that isn't out yet reaching 100 pages...

...or pretend that the GWH F-15 is a  flawed kit  because it doesn't include pilots figures????

When I get a notice from Victory Models then you'll know it's really close. BTW It's also listed with Steven's with an MSRP of 64.99 so At that price they should fly off the shelf at Mach2 . Thank You AMK!

As a former employee of the Hobbytown in Kennesaw, GA that used to put model orders together, I can tell you that Steven's almost always had higher MSRP's listed for various kits that were available from other distributors. If they're showing $64.99 for the AMK F-14D, that is a good sign that it MAY be listed for less with others.

Yep That's what I figure also...Street price of about 55.00-58.00 or less. Got to wonder If AMK is already working on the F-14B parts. If so maybe we can get a 2018/2019 Christmas New Years surprise...I really want to do a VF-143 F-14B
