I was around 18 when Glory came out. This movie and especially the musical score for it were what opened my eyes to how much power could be behind a movie and its music. One can definitely magnify and elevate the other. This is just my opinion but I've always felt the three greatest modern movie musical score composers were (in no particular order), James Horner, John Williams and Danny Elfman.
