H-145 (formally EC-145T2)

Recommended Posts

I can't see any of the available kits in either scale not being suitable for conversion. I'd guess that Revell might issue their 1/32 and 1/72 kits in the future with the necessary parts to make the EC-145T2.

Dang it Bobby! I was hoping to mash together a 135 and 145.

Wanted to make a Dare Co bird, given all the work they had done with the shark attacks.

Hello guys !

I have already done two conversions. First the EC-145 T2 of DRF Luftrettung and the newest helicopter for East Anglian Air Ambulance.

For both conversions i took some old EC-135 parts, because you have to change the length, the diameter of the fenestron and the housing of the fenestron.

Some Pictures will follow tomorrow.

Greetings Michael

For the BK-117 kit you can take both of the Medicopter Revell kits, but the 1/32 is actually not in production.

Only the inlet barrier filter system has to be scratched and some parts of the medical interior, i think.

Ok I will check as I have a number of older kits in both scales or at least that is what I recall. I didn't know if certain boxes because of mold changes were better then others.

Only the Medicopter boxing in 1:32 scale has a proper (European) medical interior, although the cabin sidewalls have severe fit issues...
