The goal of this group build is to provide an excuse to build that big kit lurking in your stash, but not not a large scale kit (1/32 or larger) After a long discussion in the original topic, Here are the rules for this group build: Group Build starts July 1 2015 and ends on January 1st 2016 Kit shall be 1/48th or smaller scale aircraft (1/48th, 1/72, etc) Kits can be minimally started nothing more than say the cockpit, and preliminary painting Aircraft depicted shall be a multi-engine Airlifter, Bomber, or Airliner Kit shall be considered "large" or hard to find a place to display. The smallest size kit in this build is a 1/48th B-25, or one dimension must exceed 13" (wingspan or length) Any AM is ok Duplicates are allowed (multiple people may build the same kit) Kit may be Injection molded, Vacuform, Resin, fiberglass, whatever (as long as it meets the other criteria) "What If" models allowed Examples include but are not limited to: Monogram bombers - B-17, B-29, B-58, B-52, B-36 , B-1 Revell 1/48th B-17 and B-1 Monogram C-47 / DC-3 series Monogram 1/48th Catalina Revell 1/144th C-17 Revell/Entex/Otaki 1/144 C-5 AMT 1990s big kits ... KC-135 , B-52, XB-70, Flying wings Heller 707 family Doyusha/Nitto/Entex 1/100 airliners Heller 1/72 Constellation family RoG 1/72 A400M Anigrand Large kits .. 1/72 747, C-133, c-141, etc Testors/Italeri 1/72 and 1/48 C-130 Airfix Nimrod Airfix 1/48th Canberras Airfix Vulcan Hasegawa B-47 Combat models 1/48th and 1/72 monsters Nova Models C-141, KC-135 And most of all, have fun!
